Hi,

I recently picked up a Bang & Olufsen Beogram TX turntable and was hoping someone here could help with adjustments. Two things..

1) The turntable will not go to the correct size record automatically. It always goes to the 33 lp size even if no record is on the table. It will not go to 45 record size automatically. I can move it there with the >> buttons. I can't find anything about this in the service manual. Other than it says to adjust the detector arm so that it's top is 17.7mm from the platter. Which it is. Caps have all been changed but had no effect. New belt on the arm motor. All rods etc have been cleaned of old grease and fresh grease put on. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be the problem?

2) Also with a record playing if I press stop the arm will drag the needle for a short time before lifting it. In other words the arm lefts the needle but to late. The arm moves before the needle lifts. Again can't find anything in the manual about this adjustment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Goodrat
