I after reviving and replacing the battery from my old Beo 5 I will embark in setting up movie room.
I have a PS3 on a IR/Bt adapter, SkyBox (amstrad drx890-z) and a Samsug 42ES6710
1) Any later firmware than 1.45b?
2) Any XML on SkyBox/Samsung TV
3) Anyone have something for Dreambox 500s?

Using the Pronto HEX codes you have found I have produced an XML file with just a few commands for you to test to make sure they work before we go any further.
Attached is a ZIP file containing the test XML file. Please extract teh ZIP file to C:\ and it will automatically be added to the correct directory in teh B&O Configuration Tool.
Please provide feedback on how well these few commands work.

Chris,,,,I have installed both of the attached XMLs and use part functions of one and part functions of the other to control my Amstrad SKY DRX890-Z.
It would be great if someone could merge them into one.
For reference we need to start from the Amstrad SKY XML file where Help, TV Guide, Options, BoxOffice, Mute and wheel/button functions all work.
From the Thomson XML file we would need to merge the POWER, SKY, Interactive, Backup & UP/Down (inner wheel) to the Amstrad one...

Results for the 6 Beo5 Screen options provided are as follows:
{BouQuet +} = does something like a page up or page back but could not correlate directly to DM500 Remote Function
{BouQuet -} = does something like a page up or page back but could not correlate directly to DM500 Remote Function
{POWER} = Red Power-On button on DM500 Remote [SUCCESS]
{Dream Menu} = Vol - / Left button on DM500 Remote [SUCCESS]
{UP} = OK button on DM500 Remote [SUCCESS]
{DOWN} = INFO button on DM500 Remote [SUCCESS]
Note that no other button on the Beo5 wheel produced any Remote function
I have attached a screenshot of the DM500 Remote for your reference.

Yes, I will try and find time over the weekend to look at it.
The protocol used for this is XMP-1 which is a protocol that has two different formats. If you are doing a single command normally you do not have any problems, but if you have a repeat command, what it sends is a different command code. Unfortunately, the HEX codes you found had the single command but not the repeat.
So, basically I will need to actually decode the commands and create a repeat command list, hence that can take some time.

started but got lost in the effort of the task....managed to fix two more buttons......investigating if there is a more efficient way to convert...
