Just testing set ups and thought it would be good to show there is not much “visual” difference between the sizes. The LG is obviously too high but quickly mounted to see side by side.

The BV11 has core and BL8000MK2 fronts and BL6000 rears.

The sound that the LG and Stage produces is very very close to that of the BV set up. Very surprising.

The main drawback is the BV controls everything via PUC seamlessly whereas the LG does not yet. I need to investigate how far it goes for that side of it.

Thank you, **thank you** for this photo!

It reminds me why I put up with my BV10-46 vs. the BV11: a more vertical aspect ratio and a broader metal frame.  The BV11 looks "too much more like a TV" than the BV10, says my wife.  She loves your fireflies, alas the wallpaper highlights the separation between the speaker cabinet and the screen.  There is another thread where someone says they mounted the Stage a cm or two closer to the TV than the instruction sheet said, and liked the look better.  I guess if you go with surface-mount cable trunking the wallpaper will camouflage it!

No doubt you'll get your combo working fine with a BeoRemote One BT (i.e. the Stage does *not* do PUC, uses the Ethernet cable & eARC).  [Edit: not sure about other integrations like cable box, but I thought that was all done inside the LG, either via CEC or with the TV's integrated IR blaster -- that's how LG did the Sonos Playbase integration for example, because LG's remote is RF not IR.]

Thanks for the info.

Yes, all works in progress, the fire place will be coming out and the TV will go in it’s place.

Mounting stage higher would make onboard button presses difficult.

The BV11 works great where it is on its motor bracket but it needs to be in the centre really.

Yes, the wall paper was very nice but the original flush install with HDMI was fine until the plugs snapped off so now it’s been used as a test wall and has seen quite a bit of SDS drill action!

It started areound an LG TV with a QTV sound system mounted behind it.

Then we became B&O custom installers and soon different ideas came in.

It will all be chased in and replastered in the next few months.

I think it may have to be the Eclipse wall mounted in the new position as all the Sky& PlayStation etc are hidden in a rack in another room.

I guess you are aware of that you can shut off the standby light on the LG. Smile

I my old BV11 ever give up, I will get the same combo as you.

No, not looked at that yet.

The only "issue" i can see is that everything is rack mounted and the BV controls it all seamlessly.

The LG needs a "work around" with IR Blasters etc.

Another plus for Beovisions.

The Smart TV platform blows away the BV11 though.

Too bad, the fireplace surround looks handsome enough.  You probably have it all planned out, but if you agonized about the removal, consider the MantelMount MM860.  The back box needs covering for when it's open (i.e. extended down) but that's fixable/customizable.  USD2000, alas, but what price the ability to do the "dynamic art" thing with the screen up when not in use.  (mantelmount.com & artplayer.com)  Regardless, definitely looking forward to a photo when you're done.  You did shoot a "before", didn't you?!
