I just logged in and Chrome advised me there has been a data breach on BW and i should change my password.  Not sure how accurate that is.

But anyway, I can't see how to change my password.

Could someone kindly let me know how to do it?

Thanks

I think this question should interest everyone who changes their passwords regularly.

Why is it not possible to change my password in the profile area or to request a new password?

Has this been confirmed as an erroneous advise from Chrome?

I remember having seen the https://portal.beoworld.org portal at some point in the past, but the question remains; is it mentioned or linked to anywhere in the site? How is a forum user supposed to find there, unless stumbling upon this or a similar thread? Smile

Related note; I have never been able to log into portal.beoworld.org. I put in the very same username and password that works on the main site's login but the portal says the password is incorrect.

EDIT: Ok, now that I tried, I found that at main site's Contact -page under "Payment problems" is a link to the portal. Ok, if I was looking for the contact form I might end up in the portal, but I think this should be linked to at somewhere AND instructed somewhere, fe. in the FAQ. I'd say a good place for a link would also be at https://www.beoworld.org/profile.asp.

As would I. My devices are all Apple using Safari and there is no option to reset a password anywhere on this site.

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.

Many thanks for the link Keith. I received the email and have successfully changed my password, which I have been wanting to do for some time now.

Thumbs Up
