Hi

Hope someone can help me here please,

I have recently acquired a Beosound 5 / Beomaster 5 , i have attempted to transfer my music onto the Beomaster 5. Unfortunately i don't see my music on the Beosound 5, however the Storage Capacity has reduced as shown on the Beosound 5 display

I went through the following process to transfer the music

1) Mapping the drive manually using smb://192.168.x.x/bm-share

2) Copy and Paste my Itunes to the Beomaster 5

3) My music is listed in the folder BM-SHARE$

Your music should be copied to the Music folder. I have done exactly like

you, and copied my iTunes folder to the Music folder. Works like a charm

But only with FLAC and mp3, not with Apple lossless. But not everything that is lossless is lost. You can convert Apple lossless to FLAC.

Two different ways, actually.

Use an external USB soundcard - Behringer UCA 202 - for connecting a bt receiver via analog RCA in.

Or use a Beolink converter 1611 connected to the Beomaster 5 with a Masterlink cable - with the bt receiver connected to the 1611 via the Aux-input there.

Both way are described several times on the forum....please ask if you don’t find details.

Contact Steve Sounds Heavenly for the needed cables etc.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
