Hi Guys,

I want to fit a IR transmitter cable into the back of my Beovision 7-40 mk 5, but it wont go all the way in ??

Its a standard 3.5 mm jack, I dont wont to break it, so is this normal ?

Ive also tried it wirh a  Beovision 7-32 mk 5, same result, it goes about half way in.

Do I have to force it, or is there a special cable.?

Would like some help.

Ken

Could you post a picture of that cable?

Where did you buy it - wasn’t it a ‘normal’ ir blaster cable from a B&O dealer, Soundsheavenly or alike?

Usually they fit well - push yes - but no need for forcing in in.

Is a standard aable van B&O and was with the TV, (would like to post a picture but its too many pixels so I dont know how to change the size.)

3.5 mm fits in every other stero ect that I have, but seems not to go all the way in with the Tv's.??

I could keep forcing it in, but wouldnt like to break the Tv

Thanks Lawrance,

Now I know what I got wrong, I mixed up the C1-C4 with the A1-A4

So I was trying to force a 3.5 IR blaster cable into the Digital Audio in.

Could not get to the back properly so trying to do it by feel.

Thank you all.

Ken

Each of these inputs will accept a digital signal carrying anything from 1 channel (mono) to 6 channels (5.1 Surround) of sound.

But what you hear depends on how many speakers you have connected.

So if you have only connected a BeoLab 7-4, you will only hear mono sound.

If you have only connected a BeoLab 7-1 or 7-2, you could hear either mono or stereo sound, etc.
