Powerlink MK2 incompatible with some Beosystems/Beosounds/Beovisions...

I've been finding that Powerlink MK2 cables (sold by B&O) cause that data leak buzz (when controlling volume, etc.) on ANY speaker (Beolab 8000, Beolab 6000, Beolab 1) connected to my BeoSystem 4 via rj45 adapters (from Sound Heavenly). However, I've found Powerlink MK2 cables to work fine with other B&O systems the I have.

(1) Has anyone noticed a difference in compatibility (meaning no buzz) among systems? And here I do mean the sound/video system itself and not the speakers.

(2) Also, is MK 1 powerlink compatible with Beolab 1? I ask because I already have some lengths of MK1 cable, and as anyone with a Beolab 1 can tell you, it's a horrible pain to move and position the heavy speakers to access the sockets!

(3) Should a powerlink MK2 cable ONLY used to daisy chain 2 speakers be safe from transmitting the data leak buzz, provided that either a MK 1 or MK3 cable is used to connect the first speaker to the BeoSystem? It would seem that the data could only be transmitted from the BeoSystem 4.

Update:

I've replaced certain MK2 cables with MK3 going from the BeoSystem 4 to a Beolab 1 and a Beolab 6000 and found that it removed the data leak buzz.

-MK1 is indeed compatible with Beolab 1 speakers and they don't need MK3 cables.

-a daisy chain using MK2 from one speaker to another does not produce a hiss if the speaker connected to the BeoSsytem 4 uses either MK1 or MK3 but not MK2.

I make these clarifications because there are certain inaccuracies (or rather not the whole truth) with regard to the explanation given to powerlink cables. MK2 cables are NOT necessarily universal cables, and unless MK2 is actually needed, it's better to stick with either MK1 or MK3.
