Hi all,

I am looking to substitute my 55´´Avant very soon and cannot decide between the eclipse and harmony both in 65´´. Like the design better on Eclipse but guess the LG TV inside is a newer model in the Harmony and price is almost the same....any advise??

thanks :-)

The television will be mounted on the wall but is that really the only major difference? I read the LG panel is a newer version in the Eclipse but I prefer that design :-)

The Harmony is much more off the wall than the Eclipse, even with the wall bracket. But hiding the screen behind the panels when switched off is shrinking the visual size of the TV more than I had expected. A 65" Eclipse is much more present when off. Comparing both TV is an large showroom did not show this expect compared to a more standard sized living room at home.

When on, the 65" Harmony is big, but when off I always think 77" could also be an option...

Also the Harmony can be upgraded to larger screen or newer model from LG much easier, you just need a new bracket. Also you could go with the heavy discounted C9 or CX panels instead of the GX panels which are more expensive and might not see the big price hit as the CX range.

With the Eclipse this is more a theoretical option.

And the Harmony is heavy...just to move a little bit left or right or to the wall to adjust or connect a cable. Big task.

The LG panel in the Eclipse is the one from 2017? Quite old now.
