Good morning all,

After I decided to move my BS5 into my office I have moved my BS Moment into the living room where I have a BV11 and a BS9000 and beolink converter.

Before it worked smoothly with the BS5 and BS9000 connected via BLC to the BV11.

Now I can only have either the moment or the BLC connected to the BV11.

Any idea how I can integrate these together? what settings do I use for the BLC (currently set to V.Master), What does the BS9000 need to be set to so it can get IR commands from a beoremote one?

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

Toby

Hi Toby, I also have my BLC set as V.master which is connected to my BS9000, so this is correct providing there are no TV's on the master link side set as video master. Did you add the product on your BV11? You'll need to say that its located in the same room when it asks, and it will add the sources to the TV. If none show, or the ones you want aren't there, in the BLC admin pages you'll need to select the ML sources to show on the NL side. Once done playback from the BS9000 will be through the BV11 and it's speakers located in the same room and the IR signals will go through the TV, so IR is disabled on the cd player.

Can the BS5 and BS9000 co-exist on the master link side as you can only have one Audio master? You may need another BLC dedicated to the BS5.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for reply, I can get the BS9000 through the BLC with the BV11 if I do not connect the BS Moment.

Its tryng to get a beosound moment and 9000 with BLC to share the BV11 speakers, i think I read that you can only have one netlink product share a BV speakers.

Anyone know how to get both working so I can just use a beoremote 1?

Thanks

Toby

Hi Toby,

Ah I see, apologies I didn't read it properly! I have the NL/ML converter configured on the BV11 as in the same room and also have my Essence II added which is in another room. This lets me see the Essence's sources in the BV11 source list which can each be mapped to remote buttons, eg Radio on the BV11 is TuneIn on the Essence, CD is N/ML converter (BS9000). I don't have a Moment but I can't see why it would be any different to the Essence. At the very least you should be able to start the moment, then press Join on the BV11.

I just had a thought, it could be an IP address conflict, are both devices set to DHCP or static under the network settings? If static and set to the same it would cause one to drop out.

Rob.

P.S. I thought I recognised your username, I bought the white beoplay v1 from you last year :) Hope all is well.

This is the difference between ‘integrated with’ (= share speakers) and ‘connected to’.

It is correct that you can only have one device sharing the speakers (means the tv/speakers turn on, when you use the device directly).

You can connect another device and control that via the mapped sources, as Rob describes.

But you can’t have both turning on the tv/speakers, when you start controlling the devices directly.

I guess it would make most sense - in your setup - to integrate the Moment and just control the BS9000 (using the converter) through a mapped command on the BV11 (probably CD).

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Thanks Rob and MM, works perfectly.

I was trying to over complicate things by changing the settings of the BLC!

thank
