I have just bought this unit and it is in need of good internal clean and the tape deck needs repair replacement. Does anyone know where I can get a stripdown guide and parts list for this.
The tape transport and electronics derive from a Beocord 8000, I think we have a service manual on site. The normal issue with this transport is that the rubber idlers turn hard - you can soften it by putting them in petroleum for the night. The transport may need some cleaning and relubrication (acid-free oil only) if it is slow to engage.
