So the last speaker was released 3 years ago, the Beolab 50

This year they will launch a bunch of products, and we know a lot of it. But no rumors of a new speaker.

Well, we've just paid off our Beolab 90s so bring on the Beolab 100, I say!
Emil Jensen: This year they will launch a bunch of products, and we know a lot of it. But no rumors of a new speaker.
They will? I don't think anything is guaranteed. Remember you said the Eclipse 2 was nearly guaranteed for April launch earlier this year. My dealer claims B&O are not even close to finishing the design, never mind it going in to production!
I've heard a Horizon 2 with updated panel (same design) is likely, but what else?
Remember, most dealers here will know what's coming in the next 3-6 months!
In this case the company themselves have said there is a pipeline of 10 (or so) new products this year.
I think that was in one of the investor updates earlier this year.
That all said pre-pandemic timelines probably dont apply anymore, and their definition of new products can be a little generous (to me).
The Balance may tick off one of the 10, fair enough. But the E8 Sport edition - I wouldn't call that a new product myself.
As for that Eclipse 2, yes well......

Correct. The so-called new iMac was due March and was delayed until around WWDC and the rumour is they still can't make it in enough quantity due to supply chain issues.
I ordered 2 x chest of drawers from Normann of Copenhagen. One finally arrived after 5 weeks (today). I was told this was stock. The other won't arrive for up to 8 weeks as they have no stock and again blame supply chain issues.
Another example. I ordered my LG GX and had to wait 4 weeks. I ordered a 65" and the dealer told me to get a deposit paid immediately as they had only two coming in as there was no stock available anywhere.
My guess is B&O being one of the smallest manufacturers will be further down the chain than, say, Apple, LG, or similar. ie. LG aren't going to supply B&O with panels if they are struggling to sort panels for their own products.
People have to remember B&O produce in tiny numbers. Sourcing supply will be harder than most.
As dealers tend to know what's coming and no dealer I know has any idea of what's coming before September, so if they don't know, we're even less likely to know.
Indeed, will take a while before most things are more readily available again.
As for product launches, yes the above will push out timelines. But my point more broadly would be that the company saying that 10 new products are due for release (expressed that way) runs the risk of being misleading.
Some will interpret that as meaning 10 wholly new products, but the recent history suggests that many will be tweaks to existing products.
As for iMacs.....wiat for the new ARM based Macs (is what I'm going to do!)

The dealer had it on his webpage and I called to confirm off cause I remember, but yea it was clearly to optimistic.

Harmony 88"
E8 Sport
And in the next 12 month we should see (if things goes as planned)
Beoremote Halo
Beolit 19
High end Headphones
Gamer Headphones
The Eclipse V2???
And apparently a new Horizon ) Must say I am very positive surprised by this, as I thought it was dead and gone for good)

Ahh I am slow, off cause the name is H95, 95 year anniversary high end headphones.
Brilliant makes me even more exited though I am going for the gaming headset.

And what does ‘high end headphones mean?

There is a tv - and there is a BV

The H9 will seem cheap in comparison,
@Emil
That is - high end means more expensive, or?
Much more interesting is - what will the bring, that the H9’s does not have?

Sorry I don't know more then the price, but my guess would be much better sound.
Sandyb: As for iMacs.....wiat for the new ARM based Macs (is what I'm going to do!)
Really bad bad idea if you want to run Windows 10 on your Mac - like I do - alongside OS 11.
The key advantage of an Intel Mac is the virtualisation support for Windows. People overlook this. There is a more simplistic ARM-based Windows 10, but it's not like the full OS.
ARM will be good, but for certain things like virtualisation, it won't be. I'll be getting one of the last iMac's before the transition.

Yes, but remember most of these were designed, developed and put in to production before lockdown. You'll be surprised. Even those new E8's will have been developed many months ago and produced in March.
Anything that was due to go in to production from March will now be delayed. Not saying don't expect lots of new stuff, but just that it might not be here soon. Q4?
Anyway, back to the original point - no-ones knows what speakers are coming.
Fair point, I hadn't read much reference to whether boot camp will be replicated in some form. The new Windows ARM PC's have been a bit of a mess from what I understand, but they do run windows. Not an expert here. I only run Mac apps, and Office stuff on the Mac OS is fine.
My 2013 MBP will need changing in the next 9 months (its been a legend until v recently), so a dilemma presents itself. Wait for an ARM MBP (may bot be first in the ARM releases) or get a refurb'd recent Intel MBP. The new Mac OS seems very much designed withe ARM Macs in mind.
Ho hum.

Not sure how old you are Sandy, but I remember Windows virtualisation on the PPC, before the Intel days, back in the late 90s, and it was literally the worst thing ever - it felt like you had to wait for the mouse pointer to move! So slow. Once the Intel move came about in 2006, this made a huge difference to running Windows virtually on a Mac.
Yeah, I have Windows in Parallels running simultaneously and switch between the two. On an iMac, Windows 10 feels native. Barely any slowdown at all.
Whatever happened to the new iMac due March and then 'around WWDC' though is a mystery. Was waiting for this to upgrade (I have a 16" MBP, which isn't ideal - prefer the 5K iMac. I sold my old one before the big move in March to the States, which didn't end up happening due to the travel ban).
Back to the original topic though. I guess no-one has any ideas on any new speakers coming soon?

B&O product history since 1991: Ridiculously long to list in a signature.
Best forget a Horizon MK2....and wait for something better ;-)
If you mean ‘new speakers on the Horizon’....I would not be that sure, that there is none coming!
Millemissen: If you mean ‘new speakers on the Horizon’....I would not be that sure, that there is none coming!
I was told there was a BL3 replacement coming back in early 2019. Never seemed to get released.
I know people will shout this down, but I think the number of people wanting new standalone expensive stereo speakers is becoming smaller and smaller and, sadly, with the current climate, even smaller again. I'm not saying there's no demand, but most people either have what they want or can get what they want. So the demand is small. As finances at B&O must be awfully tight dealing with reduced sales from covid-19, their focus is almost certainly going to be on what sells in big numbers and that would be consumer items such as a soundbar, headphones and mono speakers.
I really don't expect to see too much at all this year. Maybe early next?
I also saw this! i quite like the color as well. Still keeping my hopes up for new product releases though
The beolab 17, 18 and 19 have been announced in 2013, can we at least expect a MK2 version after 7 years ???? Any information on this ?
moxxey:I was told there was a BL3 replacement coming back in early 2019. Never seemed to get released.
Aussie Michael: I was also told that too. Maybe even earlier but it must have been sidelined for the Edge, Stage, etc

The irony for me with the Stage is that it won't allow a wisa connection to another B&O speaker. Such a shame. Would have been a huge opportunity for someone like me to build on their GX + Stage + BeoRemote and add a sub or a couple of BL3 replacements. Would widen the Stage experience.

Yes, it is expensive to develop different loudspeaker for different use-cases like B&O is doing it, and only big numbers will help to handle the overhead costs. For B&O to reach big number it would help to be more flexibel and to use software to do it.In my opinion B&O should develop Netlink/NL further also to manage multichannel. With the goal of covering different use cases: (1) combining several standalone speaker in different rooms as multiroom speaker (as today) and (2) combining several speaker in one room as multichannel set-up supporting e.g. Dolby Atmos.Sonos and Bluesound are moving in this direction with their multiroom protocols and Roon Lab is already there with their protocol. Does B&O miss this trend (again !?!), because B&O stopped the further development of Netlink/NL. Probably because B&O seems not to have the legal rights and/or knowledge to develop and improve Netlink/NL.B&O current strategy is entirely focused on Airplay and Chromecast. And the owners of the streaming protocol e.g. Apple will push their HomePod speaker with multichannel first (as they did with stereo), certainly not B&O speakers. My conclusion is software sells hardware not vice versa. I strongly doubt that a company setting their main strategy on „craftsmanship“ and with no strategy on user friendly and innovative software / firmware / apps will survive the ongoing digital transformation.
