Hello,

I am having unusual problems with my Eclipse which I purchased from my local B&O dealer last year. It is paired via wireless powerlink to a pair of BL20’s used for surround sound and music.

First I noticed lip sync issues using the TV’s built in Netflix app which seem to have appeared recently.
After I had an unusual problem where all HDMI sources played via the soundbar have a grayed out image, which was resolved after unplugging the TV completely for about 10 minutes.

Now, when using the built in Netflix app and viewing 5.1 audio encoded videos from my NAS (Via the LG Screen) which previously worked without issue I am no-longer getting surround audio. When viewing the sound info on the soundbar, it registers as 2.0 input. passing through my Apple TV plugged directly into the sound bar it is back at 5.1.

It would therefore seam that there is an issue, HDMI based or software based, between the screen and soundbar.

Has anyone else had similar problems, or has there been a recent dodgy software update?

I will be taking up the issue with my dealer shortly should there not be an easy fix.

Hi ST, i don't have an eclipse, but I would be interested to read how it is resolved when you speak with your dealer, not unless someone else has a solution in the mean time.

the Eclipse and the LG tv are connected correctly (HDMI 2 of the LG tv)?

is the 5.1 format send from the LG tv to the Eclipse a DD or DTS signal? The HDMI ARC of the LG (aside 2 channel PCM) cannot handle other formats.
