Beosound 1 and app

Hi guys/nGals

Just bought back into the BnO world after a 40yr absence.

I purchased a Beosound1 but cant get it to talk to BO through their app.

Can get bluetooth but not wifi or anything else, esp wanting to download the remote on my android devise. Oneplus 6T

The Beosound1 is a seconhand unit pre Google command.

Have done the reset button thing.

Just comes up with "not connecting try again"

Also whats the * on the left of the reset button.
