I am playing music from my DLNA server. I can play to either my A9 (mk II) or my BeoSound 1 from the B&O app. if I try to create multiroom, i can add the other device, but no sound comes from it. if i adjust the volume on the device, the slider moves in the app.

I've reset the router, limited the bands on 5GHz. It still doesn't work.

I'm using a NetGear Orbi RBR850 and have very strong signal.

Any thoughts?

Is it the same with other music sources, e.g TuneIn, Deezer, AirPlay ?

Airplay works fine. For example, I can play music from the iPad to the A9 and the BeoSound 1 over Airplay simutlaneously without a problem.

Are you creating this AirPlay multiroom session by selecting the individual speakers using Apple's speaker picker? In that case, you would be bypassing Beolink altogether.

I concur. At least it shows that both devices are working ok on the network.

@johnbrks : what parameters do you have for each product in the Beolink / Audio sync?

I’m assuming that Beolink / Join is checked.

i create mulitroom using the beoplay app as i want to include the Moment (which does not use AIrPlay).
i have the devices set to Join. It used to work and stopped working February with one of the app updates.
I have not been able to get it to work since. The devices clearly communicate as they apparently joint the multiroom in the B&O app an the volume slider in the app moves when i change the volume on the device, but there is no sound in multi room.

If i add the Moment to multiroom in the B&O app, the Moment's display shows: DLNA -> MOMENT and shows the song from multiroom. yet no sound plays on the moment from the multiroom.

It happens from time to time with my M5, but I never had this symptom on all devices.

Have you tried TuneIn on the A9 for exemple and join the others, the TuneIn on the Moment then join the others, etc ...

What happens if you manually JOIN the other device which is playing DLNA music. Then they are joined and playing?
