Hi all,I've recently been gifted a Beogram 1203 and Beocenter 1400. I don't have anything other than the attached power cables for each of them. I'd like to get them up and running, or see if they can run at all.Could anyone please tell me which cables I would need to connect them to each other, to speakers with an aux port and anything else that might be useful? Any advice would be welcome!!

Just to verify, the Beogram 1203 came with only the power cable attached to it?

Beogram 1203 has a captured signal cable.Was it cut off?

Oh you’re right, it does have a captured signal cable attached too!
I believe plugging the Beogram into the PHONO input on the Beomaster should be the first thing to do. Try playing the record. See what happens and report back in case of any issues.

After plugging the Beogram into the beocenter, I'll need to connect it to speakers to see if either/both work.I don't recognise all of the outputs at the back of the Beocenter. The headphones port is too large for current aux cords. What sort of cables would I need to connect the speakers or headphones output to a common 3.5mm aux port?Is there a specific DIN cable I'd need?Would I need a pre-amp?
You should connect (passive) speakers to the speaker sockets at the back.If Beogram 1203 is connected to Beocenter 1400 no preamp is needed.
If you are trying to connect PC speakers (3.5mm jack) to the Beocenter, you must use the tape socket at the back - get a 5-pin DIN to female 3.5mm jack.Make sure the adapter is for output - not input - and make sure your speakers have a volume control or they will be at a constant max.
