Hello,

every now and then my BS Essence switches to LINE-IN by itself , no matter what source is playing (radio/music from B&O app, tune-in app, google cast etc...)...

The switching can happen at any time and with any frequency. Sometimes even every 2/3 minutes, which is very annoying, as this means a continuous interruption of music....

PS No source and no cable is plugged into the RCA line-in .....

 

Has anyone experienced this behaviour?

See if just plugging in rca cables does anything.

It does nothing unfortunately .... the random auto switching still remains ...

If nothing is connected, you might try disabling line in detection via the beoapp. 

Select the essence, then product configuration, then sound, then line-in.  The first setting defaults to medium,  but disable is an option.
