Thank very much for the feedback directly from B&O. It would be nice to get feedback from B&O more often, what thoughts and ideas are behind it. This comment is not limited to app development.
But anyway, who needs a widget to open an app, I don't understand the use-case?

I have been using the widget both on my iPhone and iPad. In fact it has made me use the B&O regularly vs. just AirPlaying to my speakers. I guess it just depends on your workflow. The convenience helps for me.

If you would read my post on the previous page (Aug 16 2020 1:44 PM), you would see that I already described this behaviour.
However, this goes only for a V-product.
The widgets behave differently depending on whether a V- or an A-product is choosen.

In my case I have 10 different icons displayed in the B&O widget. What ever icon I click, it just opens the app.So I still not get it, I can open the app via the widget or directly. So 1 click vs. 1 click, where is the advantage?
OK there is no disadvantage, neither. That is probably the way how to see it.

Unfortunately not on my iPad Pro 11 2018. But no need to fix it, I anyway see no benefit in the widget ;)I would prefer that all the other bugs and issues on your list would be solved first.

Which is perfectly ok!
It just adds to the fact that this ‘widget update’ works differently in different use cases.
I installed the widget on my iPhone. There it seems to work correct.
But in my eyes it is even more useless than on my iPad. Because on my iPhone it opens the setting page of the selected audio speaker. I used this page once when I set up my new loudspeaker. And when everything is running smooth I never use this page.For what reason do I need a widget to jump to page hopefully I never need ???
Or does the developers assume that technical problems with their products occur regularly and that the setting pages are therefore by far the most important?

Then the icon should at least link to the currently playing screen. That would be from my viewpoint more logic.

Imho I think that isn't.
The widget directs you to the same page as when you've selected it from the main page in the app. It gives you both the status at the bottom and the option to choose which source or multilink you want.

Tried that and indeed, only with the app in the background you get the status and sources. Without the app in the background you need to close the page and re-open it again to obtain the status and sources.
Theater looks like a bug to me.
On my iPhone running iOS14 beta, I go to the widget and click on Core icon and it takes me to the Core controls.

You are right. If the app is not open the widget just opens the app. I guess I just have it running in the background all the time!

How about adding the 4 MyButtons to the screen of each (compatiple) product - plenty of space at the top.
Hi there Bang and Olufsen Developers.
My question would be:
When / If the App will be available with some functionality on the Apple Watch.
when I am feeling lazy I can change the lights on my watch or HC on the Eclipse.
It would be great if it would even have limited functionality to turn volume of a zone up and down or turn the standby all function.

Will the virtual keyboard for the Eclipse (I think it should also work for the Harmony and Stage) be eventually be implemented ?
I notice that the numerical keyboard in the app is already able to supply numbers in the fields, so adding alphabetic characters and symbols would be possible.
