Folks,

My local dealer has confirmed that a motorized stand (rotating) is coming this fall for the Beovision Harmony. Have any of you seen / heard anything more on this. I have placed the order for the TV with the motorized stand . It is priced at US$ 2800.

That is interesting and gives the Harmony way more placing options. Now I will be tempted to replace my Eclipse

BV Harmony 65 / Eclipse 55 / BL 50 / 19 / 18 / BS 2 all brass

BV Horizon 48 / V1 40 / BL 17 / Beoplay S3 all black

V1 / BL 3 / BS Essence MKII / Beoplay A3 all white

BS Moment / BS 3000 / BS 3200 / BL 400 all silver

Headphones / bluetooth speakers / BLC NL-ML / BLGateway

I know…B&O virus has grown on me !

I ordered the floor stand. Not sure of the wall but they may have the wall coming as well.

No picture but a installation video: https://youtu.be/4w2KX8ubWqc

Would be interesting how to put the motorized rotating stand on an installed Beovision Harmony. Do you have dismantle it?

Looks cool!

It changes the appearance of the BV pretty much.

MM

There is a tv - and there is a BV

It does and I think for the better. In some ways, it looks like BV 9 which is my favorite design. I still have my BV 9 (bought in 2009) working in perfect condition and now Harmony will take the prime seat in the house while BV 9 does the duty in the secondary space :).

Loewe 7.77 is still rocking with BL 5 in the master bedroom.

My take out from the video is that it allows for a swivel function (as opposed to a full motorised movement like the avant) of +/- 35 degrees. I suspect it’s because of the weight of the speaker movement.

I can’t wait to see it in real life to see how the speaker mechanism works, i guess it’s the same, and that does the speakers need to open and then it swivels or does it do a dance at the same time, or any limitations (eg doesn’t swivel in certain situations)

It looks like what many have asked for, myself included.

We just installed one of the rotating stands last week so they are now available.

When the rotating stand is available, does it "just" turn right / left or does it offer a possibility to move away from the wall like the stand of the Beovision Eclipse?

Does anybody know, what the motorised rotating stand for Beovision Harmony costs in Germany?

Like the Beovision Eclipse motor stand?

It doesn’t need to swivel like an eclipse, it’s also way to big to do that in most cases.

Hm, of course it needs to - if you need it to :). Actually the eclipse is wider than the harmony.

Anyway, to be able to come closer to the user and to rotate further from the wall the planetary rotation is a key feature. Not necessary for everyone but sure creates many more possibilities - such as the 180 degree rotation but mainly to rotate further and out from the wall.
