beogram 5500 shipping and packaging

Hello I just recently bought a beogram 5500 from a seller and was wondering what the correct way to ship the item was. He isn’t too familiar with the item, but does know about the transit screws and platter being separately packaged. Thank you. Any advice would help!

1. disconnect the pickup

2. Support the tone arm from the underside (a little), because the hinge often breaks during shipping.

3. Prevent the tone arm slide from moving to the center. (Buckle some bubble foil into the space left to the tone arm slide. )
