Can anyone verify whether the essence remote is compatible as a generic Bluetooth controller? I’m curious if it could be connected by Bluetooth to an iOS or Android device to control volume and play/pause.

thanks!

I have done this successfully with a Windows PC.  I just tried with an iPhone and it didn't work for me.

I cannot get it to work with my iPhone 8.

Tested with Android and a High Resolution Walkman (android based) and works fine.

This is really interesting data. So it works with Windows and Android based devices. Could someone try it with a Tizen based samsung tv or a home theater AV receiver? Additionally, does it have full functionality with android and PC connections?
