There's nothing in this video. The tech is a teenager? Big Smile

As Martin says - not a BG 4000.

Correct. It is not a Beogram 4000. It is a Beogram 4002. If you read the full description of the video you will see a link to a written article with multiple still pictures. The article specifically describes it as a Beogram 4002 and has images with a wider view clearly showing all of the parts. Also, both the video and the pictures in the article clearly show the Beogram tangential arm. In the video look to to the left as the view is from the back of the Beogram 4002. The article was also posted earlier in this thread.

Read that link and I’m still confused.

It’s as clear as mud.

Whatever B&O do, they must:

1. NOT use circuits that can’t be repaired in 40 years. What is the point if it can’t be fixed years from now. The old Beograms can be repaired even now due to discrete components.

2. NOT mix their turntables with current software and network systems because they will flake out or not be serviced/work properly weeks or years from now like the BS5, Moment, etc...

3. NOT incorporate any Bluetooth or NL or WiFi stuff because it will not work reliably in the future.

If it ain’t broke don’t mess with it. B&O please don’t **** with them. Clean them and replace the parts like Dillen or Frede would do.
