A new Eclipse would make sense as a dealer in the US told me he is running an unpublicized special on the current Eclipse. Maybe trying to clear old stock...

Most likely the Halo. It will certainly be able to control all the connected speakers, hence the picture. The availability in September was mentioned by a member here.

My dealer; was keen to stress that this should not be seen as a replacement for the BR1.
Its being targeted more for use with a Core + speakers setup.
So I'd keep expectations low with regards to its ability to control a BV.

As we saw a number of weeks ago, it’s a beautiful piece. But I wish it operated off batteries, like the Essence remote, so it would not need to have a mains power cable attached. My use case would be sticking this on my wall to control my Core. I would want no Ethernet or power cables showing. Perhaps it will accept batteries and operate on Bluetooth like the Essence... we will have to wait and see, but based on the leak, it didn’t seem that way.
When this arrives, if anyone would care to sell me their Essence wall remote, I’d appreciate that!
