Hi,
The nurse who takes care of my wife inadvertently dropped the Beo 4 on the hard floor.
Keyboard/display are OK but the IR diode doesn't seem to work anymore as the Beosound 9000 doesn't respond to inputs. I then tested with an other Beo 4 (normally used with an Ouverture) and everything is fine.
So I am looking for a repair centre that can fix it by replacing the IR diode. Any advice ? (I am located in Belgium but could ship abroad)
Or maybe should I just buy an other one on eBay ?
Thanks anyway for an advice.
Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the remote. Have you tried simply resetting the batteries?
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
Thanks for the hint but I had already installed fresh batteries to no avail.
Note: I waited until the display went blank to make sure the capacitor got fully discharged before installing the batteries
PM sent
Thanks
