First time in many years that I have felt exited about a product launch.

I do hope that they haven’t upcycled old units.

And if they are smart they price it at a level where young people can buy it.

It is old units,

And it will not be a price level an average young person would afford.

Beogram 4000 is the one they always show as their classic model (rather than the 4002 etc.).
The photo above is not even a Beogram 4000.

The black arms and keypad look odd, don’t they? Is it because of the Soundsmith cart?

Maybe it will be black anodized aluminium? Either way, even at 10K price, I envy those people who would be able to afford it and regret I'm not the one. Such a design icon.

Buy yourself a nice specimen on bay&co., send it to the Martin or Frede for raparation/restoration and you will get the original one for max. 15-20% of this ridiculous price.

Just my 2 cents

Yes, ist defenitly more a 4002/4004 than a 4000.

maybe they can‘t find enough old 4000 to buy, or they were not able to restore them?

At first there was a Discussion about 3000 peaces, now 95.

and there was the Idea to restore a whole System.

beosystem 4500. not their best one and defenitly not the one which fits optically to a 4000.

but i think they choose that one they have a few spares for it.

For me it is a Kind of stupid that they restore a Beogram, doesn‘t matter of 4000 or 4002 for 10000€.

way to much!

They do not even have a System you can run it with.

But at least, i‘m pretty sure they will sell the 95 peaces as collectors item.

I just saw a B&O brochure on the new, limited edition Beogram 4000c.  The are only 10,000EU as noted in other posts.  They also are not a Beogram 4000 so I agree Martin...why did they name it a 4002c ?

It will be interesting to get a peak inside and see what they did there.

I guess a good thing about this release is it will only increase the value of the original (and true) Beogram 4000.

Will they reproduce the parts that will fit the older machines, so that we can bring them back up to date?
