I bought an Essence recently to hook up to the BeoSound 2. More for fun really and because I like the look of the Essence and fancied using one! Of course with Google Assistant built in who really needs an Essence or a Halo for that matter? I’ll probably still end up getting a Halo anyway!
So, my question, the Essence seems to disconnect from the BS2 if I haven’t used it for 30 minutes or so. To start it again, I have to ask Google to play something on the BS2, then once the speaker is active the remote will work again. Is this correct? Surely one of the key points of a physical remote is that it fires up the speaker when I press play on it... which it doesn’t! Am I missing something? Cheers, Simon :)
