I have a Beosound9000 system 9 whit power link.
Now I have several amplifiers MCL2p witch I will connect to the Link.
The Link cable has 4 wires plus ground. Normally we only need 2 for L=R signal and 1 for on/off.
The MCL2p needs fully wiring. Isn’t there a way to make this work with the cable I have.
Why dos the MCL2P need the data connection? Can I trick that.

I don't think it does. It doesn't care about the data signal at all, it just carries the data through to the speaker output. I'm pretty sure you can just skip that. You only need it if you have speakers with displays and you want them operational.

The MCL2P is an amplifier.
In a MasterLink setup (from the BS9000) you have to use a BeoLink Active for each room/amplifier.
The 2P is then connected to the PL of the ActiveLink and drives passive speakers.
Please specify if I did not understand your question!

Millemissen: The MCL2P is an amplifier. In a MasterLink setup (from the BS9000) you have to use a BeoLink Active for each room/amplifier. The 2P is then connected to the PL of the ActiveLink and drives passive speakers. Please specify if I did not understand your question! Greeting Millemissen
I think he means to use the PL output of the BS9000 and use the MCL2P as amplifier to drive a set of passive speakers. That will work fine.
He writes "connect to the Link" and "linkcable" and has "several 2P's.
But maybe you are right.

You don't need the "display data" but only a fully wired cable is able to transmit "turn on / turn of data" sent by the source (Audio, TV or BeoLink Active)

If you have 4 wires and ground to connect your MCL2Ps via Powerlink, you can use PIN 3/5 for audio L/R, PIN 2 ground,PIN1 for power on/off
and also PIN4 for on/off.
As a workaround you can solder a bridge to PIN 1 - 4.
If I remember correctly, BS9000 also needs a signal on the data pin to detect a connected Powerlink, but I`m not quite sure...(PIN 6-7 bridged?)

I`d recommend to use Beolink actives connected via Masterlink, if you want to use your MCL2Ps in different rooms.

I now have made an extra cable whit the pins 1 to 5 connected. When I connect this direct to the Beosound it works.
I have to control the other line where my Beolabs are connected. They work all perfect but on this line my MLC2P still doesn’t.
Anyone now’s how the on/off in detail is working. Pin 1 and 4.

The Pin 1-4 trick is a workaround to connect a MCL2P "solo" - it's not an universal solution in conjuntion with BeoLabs on the same PowerLink line.My recommedation is: buy fully mounted PL Cables, either B&O item # 6271227 for 5m, B&O item # 6271228 for 10m

Pin1 on older stuff is power on, Pin4 is speaker on (speaker mute).
Power on on newer equipment like BS9000 is via Pin4. Pin1 and 4 are both 4-5 V.
To connecte an MCL2P to BS9000 it should work with just one wire from PIN4 (BS9000) to Pin1 (MCL2P).
All (newer) Beolabs should be activated by Pin4.
Sorry, I didn`t see anything about Beolabs in your first post. What do you mean by "I have to control the other line..."?.
Which Beolabs are connected? Could you give us a bit more details about your setup? - thanks.
