Hi guys

i actually have a bv6 26 (2007) and have managed to make a sound only input using v.aux.  i have my airport express hooked up to L & R pc speak input and when i turn on v.aux tv allows sound but screen is not turned on. Great.

But.... i want to do the same on my girlfiends bv6 22 (2006) but i can't get it to work. Sound comes through but the Screen will always turn on too. Screen will be blank - but it is still on.

can anyone help guide me on setting up a bv6 22 for just sound input so we can use airport express?

Try "AV-V-AUX" alternatively "Picture-mute"

Millemissen:

Try "AV-V-AUX" alternatively "Picture-mute"

"ADD" the command "A-V.AUX" to the "LIST" of your Beo 4.

Not sure, but as far as I remember "P.MUTE" just turns the screen to black ...

hi Vienna

i tried adding a-v.aux but how do you "initiate/activate" it so to speak.  i add a-v.aux to the "list" then when i get to a-v.aux i press "go" but nothing happens - it just changes back to v.aux.  then if i press "go" again on v.aux it turns sound & screen on.  any thoughts?

The AV-(source) command only works in option 2. So that will only work on a bv6-22 if the (optional) ML-module is build in.

The L-in/R-in RCA sockets are dedicated to the PC command. Just ADD the command PC in your LIST. Not sure if your screen goes off this way.

Hi DubleU,

you are right 'bout the need for ML-module (forgot it), when using the AV-command.

Note: the AV-command also works well with a Link-tv - option6!!!

Chris will have to test the "audio-input/pc-solution" - might work.

How about using the red/white-input on the side - also used for connecting a camera?
