Has anyone bought one? It's not sold out yet.

Price aside, the problem for me is now I know other limited edition colours are coming in the future, I'd be tempted to see if a better colour becomes available!

Any idea what makes it 1,000 gbp more expensive than the regular version? The anthracite version was 100 gbp more expensive, but not 1,000...

Because only 10 are made...

If people are willing to pay for it... why not?

Good question. I'd pay a £200-300 premium, but not an additional £1000 and not for a BeoSound 1! BeoSound 2 would make me seriously consider as it's far stronger and more standalone speaker.

Someone once asked if it's worth purchasing for an 'investment', but a colour of a product has never pushed up the longer term resale price of any B&O product. ie. you're not going to be able to shift it on eBay for £2500 in 6 months.

I don’t find this colour variant particularly interesting but that’s just me!

B&O products are V1-32, BS2, H95, E8 and an Essence remote.
11-46 now replaced with Sony A90J 65”, Sony HT-A9, Sony UBP-X800M2 and Sony SRS-NS7.

It's a bit bizarre. I'm 95% sure this was a special custom corporate order which required a minimum run and they had 10 left over, hence the choice of colour and price.

Sounds awfully like another case of throwing sh1t at a wall and hoping some of it sticks from the marketing department!

Ban boring signatures!

That would be catastrophic!

Think if you shed out that much money for something that is 1 of 10 in the world, and it turns out there are 100 of it...

It is just marketing for making custom orders visible. It’s expensive and unique. I don’t think they made more units for a company or some such. I believe they just semi quietly launches this beapoke thing. Ultra rich people without style like things that is a bit secret and odd. :)

Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2,
BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century,
BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i,
BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40,
BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)

Then, I wouldn't be the one who order it first as a bespoke item, just to see it shared by 10 other random people…

No, that's me too, even that shade of blue (at it appears on pictures) isn't as beautiful as ws the infantry green one (at it appeared on pictures).

I think the colour works well as tinsel on a Christmas tree once a year but can’t visualise it anywhere else. Very awkward tone to match with colours in a home environment. Even B&O can’t match it well if you look at the last photo following the link in the original post. A brown/mocha coloured wall with this shade of metallic blue, really? These colours are hardly popular these days; brown is so outdated and went out with brown furniture and if you are going to try ‘boring’ blue, a lighter pastel version if anything!

Unsure
