I am having no luck getting the panel lights to work. I have replaced the bulbs and cleaned the fuse holder but they still dont work. Can somebody confirm that the fuse shown here is the correct one (on the underside of the main circuit board)

Thanks

Yes, that's the fuse for the dial lamps.
From the photo, I would say you need to replace the holders and the fuse altogether.

Yes, they do look a bit rough although I cleaned them as best I could. What kind of fuse is it? 6.3v 1A maybe? Or if my ohms law is correct 300mA fuse?

It says 1A Fl on the board.
That's 1 Ampere fast blow.

And make sure you have the right lamps (the stereo indicator lamp is a different wattage from the two dial lamps) and check also that they are sitting tight in their sockets.

Thanks for all your help. Further extensive cleaning of the fuse holder and the fuse itself has finally got the lamps working! Looks great! The stereo indicator works fine, it doesnt get much use as it appears not to be fitted with the FM stero decoder.
