Is it possible to change the link connection on 4002 to fit another make and use as a satellite TV say Samsung or other make.

Hello and welcome to Beoworld.

Sorry - no, that is not possible.

Why not just use one of the scart-inputs for it?

Greetings Millemissen.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Do I need to change it to scart or is there an adapter availble?  I may need an electrician

If I understood your question?

You want to connect a satelite-reciever of some kind?

Just connect the reciever with a scartcable to one of the scartsockets of the BV.

In the settingsmenu you must also assign that socket to one of the buttons (V-MEM or so) on the Beo4-remote.

With the Beo4 you open the scartport of the tv and control the volume.

The receiver will then/must be controlled by its own remote - for setup and changing programs.

And the receiver of cource needs a coax-cable from the sat-disc.

Greetings Millemissen

Thank you for trying, but it appear that I am not able to explain my problem.  I have Beovision 7 in the main room with sat box.  In another room I have Beovision 4002.  I am able to access & change sat and sky chanels from the 4002, let us say in breakfast room.  The connection from the main TV are in the form of 2 cables on in arial socket and second looks multipin? (much smaller then scar) in to a side of 4002.  I want to replace 4002 with a different make of TV (may be samsung).  I am unable to find similar connection in the other make.  This is what I am seeking solution for.  The wiring from main TV is nearly 40 meters and all hidden in the cavities and roof and not accessable.  If was able to change this mltipin scart or other type with an adapter would be great.

I hope I have explained as well.  I am grateful for your time. thank you

Zafar

OK, that makes sense now. But it is still impossible...

Hello Zafar,

"second looks multipin? (much smaller then scar) in to a side of 4002":

This is the masterlink connection, a special B&O solution. You will not find this connection at any other TV on this planet!

So if you want to have access to BV 7 from your TV in linkroom, you need a TV from B&O with this masterlink connection.
