Hi all, I'm using an HDMI to SCART converter to pair my Beovision LX 5500 and my digital TV-box. However the image is stuck in black & white. I don't know much about all this but I understand it's due to an incompatibility between the NTSC signal on my TV-box (which apparently can't be changed) and the signal on my Beovision.

Does anyone know what I can do? Can I change the signal on my Beovision to PAL/SECAM?

Oddly, when I connect my macbook through the HDMI port, picture is also in black & white.

Please help! Thanks!

Sébastien

If I recall correctly there's not much you can do. I had the same issue with a BV ME6000 when I bought my first bluray player. Changed the televisions for a MX6000 which handles both PAL/NTSC. There was no way to change on the player.

Not sure but for the macbook you might be able to change the output.

Thanks for your answer.
If anyone has ideas as to what I can do about my macbook being displayed in black & white on my Beovision, let me know!

Thanks for your help.
