Hey - I finally got my MMC2 for my Beogram 7000 retipped and the sound is again as it should be.
However, I notice that when the tone arm is lifted in the middle of the song, it mutes the left channel a little before the right channel - this should happen at the same time, right? Also when the tone arm is set down in the middle of a song, there is also a muting delay for half a second on the left channel. Is this adjustable somewhere?
It's all inside a mechanical switch with two contacts.You can replace the switch but I doubt you will find one that activates both contacts absolutely simultaneously.
