I have a MCP 5000 and Beomaster 5000. Until recently all worked fine, but now the MCP simply will not work. Appears to be lack of power as no LEDS, but Battery ok and looking at the circuit there is no obvious reason. I have found the service manual for the MCP and Beomaster, but it does not have any test voltages or expected signals on the cct for the MCP. Any ideas if this information is available otherwise its going to have to be a replacement unit.. Thanks
Geoff
Hi Geoff,
exactly the same problem here, funny thing is, it was simply sitting there and noticed random LEDs were lit up.
I could not get any change in the random activity so I removed all the batteries to rest the unit.
Now nothing works, no LEDs no response from the other units.... batteries changed, no effect. Absolutely dead.
please see my post for some useful advice.
