Hi
I've added A_AUX onto my Beo5. It works except when its time to switch the system off. I have to hold down the standby button for the system to switch off. Its as if it thinks I have multiple systems on. All the other buttons such as radio, cd etc. I just have to quickly touch the standby button and the system turns off. Its only the A_AUX button that I have to keep holding the standby button down. Any ideas why?

Just guessing: When you press A.AUX on the beo5 does the remote load a sub page?If so it could be that in that sub page the red dot key is not programed to turn off the system.
No sub menu on aux. It's really strange. I've deleted the button and reprogrammed a new one. No luck.
It may not be relevant, but on the BC9500 when you press AUX followed by a number, the BC assumes a specific type of input. eg AUX 1 = TV, AUX 2 = V.TAPE etc.
Perhaps your Beo5 is assuming that A.AUX (without a number) actually targets a input from a B&O video source, and needs the long press to turn off all sources, both video and audio.
Maybe try AUX 0, AUX 1 etc and see if there is any difference.
Alternatively, can't you use A.MEM to open up the AUX input? (Depending on what you are controlling)

It is in Aux_A for RADIO, it is controlling a Beosound 9000 with Beolab 9s...masterlinked to Beolab 3500 in one room and a Beosound 4 with Beolab 3's in another room. It just puzzles me because its only on the Aux_A that it does that. I can't remember what option the BS9000 is on. I know its the master
Strange - did you try it with a Beo4, BL1000...? Just selecting A.AUX and then set to stdby mode via short press?
Your BS4 should be in AOPT5.(?)
If you already tried Guy's suggestions AUX0,-1.... and A.MEM
I'd try TV (or whatever videosource (should open AUX port...) if it does not, try AV-TV (should open AUX port, if BS9000 is in A.OPT1)
If this all doesn't help, I'd disconnect BS4 and try again with A.AUX (Beo5) and short Stdby press...
