Apparently, new functionality from TIDAL is now available. While we have been asking for native support within the B&O app for TIDAL and Qobuz, if that isn’t an option, perhaps TIDAL Connect support could be considered for Multiroom products since Chromecast, already included, works similarly. Anything to allow the device itself to receive the stream from the cloud and not from a phone or tablet would be greatly appreciated!
Currently: BeoLab 17, BeoLab 18, BeoSound Core, Beosound Level, Beosound A1 2nd Gen, BeoPlay S8 Connection Hub, Halo, Essence Remote
Previously: BeoSound 1 non-GVA
As they removed spotify connect from the newer products like Stage, A9mk4, Balance I wouldn't hold my breath...
Of course, they should.
But they wont.
Its Deezer,TuneIn.....and spotty Spotify Connect support.
And Airplay or CC anything else.
Tidal Connect supports gapless playback and for their higher resolution streams, from what I understand.
