B&O Beosound Core

As regarding the newest Core does anyone know if it had an auto on/off feature when using an external source to the optical or line/in ?

I want to use an external source , a streamer, but want the Core to start when it senses an audio signal.

Thx

I have two cores both connected using optical and it goes to standby after 2-3 minutes. You can also make it go to standby from the app or Essence remote (if you have one).

B&O in my life 😊:

  • Beolab 8002 + Beolab 2 + Beosound Core with Essence Remote (Office)
  • Beolab 6000 + Beolab 11 + Beosound Core with Essence Remote (Bedroom)
  • Beoplay A9 Mk2 (Living Room)
  • Beosound 1 with wireless dock (Portable)
  • Beosound Balance (Dining)
  • Beoplay H95 (Focused listening, travel)
  • Beoplay H9 (3rd gen) (retired)
  • Beoplay P6 (Portable)
  • Beotime wall clock (hallway entrance)
  • BMW X5 50i with B&O Audio Package (Commute/drive)
