Hallo,

Gruss Millemissen

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Yes, right, that's a question I also have.

Can we now cable our houses with standard Cat5 cabling and patch panels, and run powerlink through Cat5? That would offer great flexibility and would be great. How long can those cables be?

I hope somebody can answer this......

Sorry for my English, understand German very well but writing....

Kind regards,

Joost

For VERY, VERY good reasons B&O stresses, ONLY CAT 7 - Class F cabling will FULFILL ALL needs of ANALOGUE (eg PowerLink)
as well as DIGITAL (eg HDMI via HDBaseT) SIGNAL DISTRIBUTION.

To get some basic informations about this topic read the "B&O New Installation Concept" handbook ...
