Hi,

I recently purchased a  Beocenter 7007 and it worked beautifully for about a month. However, it recently started short circuiting within a couple of seconds of playing a tape or vinyl. This happens regardless of whether the speakers are connected or not.

Was wondering if anyone knew of any potential fixes?

Short circuiting?
So your mains fuse blows?

Sorry, that's the wrong terminology. It just stops playing and resets to the vinyl stylus to the off position or stops playing the tape. The Beocenter still remains on and no mains fuse blows!
