All, my Core updated its system software last night from 1.7.37078 to 1.9.41629.

I have no idea what the updates did (I couldn’t find update notes) but thought I would post as an FYI.

Cheers!

Currently: BeoLab 17, BeoLab 18, BeoSound Core, Beosound Level, Beosound A1 2nd Gen, BeoPlay S8 Connection Hub, Halo, Essence Remote

Previously: BeoSound 1 non-GVA

My BS2, Essences and M3 have an update waiting for them.  I usually wait a week or two before I apply updates to make sure nothing important breaks or gets turned off by the release.

Same here. While updating my BS 1 and M5, I noticed B&O ended up dating all my speakers including the Cores to 1.9. I didn't notice any changes either other than the numbers.

I am waiting for B&O to add the image for the Core to their widget. It's the only modern product I think that does not have an image.

B&O in my life 😊:

  • Beolab 6000 + Beolab 11 + Beosound Core with Essence Remote (Bedroom)
  • Beoplay A9 Mk2 (Living Room)
  • Beosound 1 with wireless dock (Portable)
  • Beosound Balance (Dining)
  • Beoplay H95 (Focused listening, travel)
  • Beoplay H9 (3rd gen) (retired)
  • Beoplay P6 (Portable)
  • Beotime wall clock (hallway entrance)
  • BMW X5 50i with B&O Audio Package (Commute/drive)

No update on my Core yet.  Hopefully the update will fix a problem with my favorite Tune In station that was fixed with the Essence and M5 updates.

Hopefully the last update will solve a BS Core issue that started with software 1.7.x in March 2020 where the Core is sending a beocore_tcp unsubscribe after the automatic daily reboot which makes it unable to participate to Beolink multiroom unless it is restarted.

More info in the coming days!
