Bonjour,

Merci d('avance

Cordialement

Theo

Hi,

This is an english version of the above message

I got two Beolink wireless.

Personally, I have no use for it, and to see if it worked, I plugged them in, and pressed Connection.

Since then, it’s been flashing orange pretty fast, but it’s been going on for at least 1/2 hour.

I had also tried a long press, to put back to factory reset,  but it didn’t change anything.

Does anyone have an opinion on that?

Thank you in advance
Regards

Theo

Hello. I have no experience with this product, but according to the manual there is only red or yellow fast flashing:

Fast yellow flash ... Wireless 1 is reset to factory setting.

Fast red flash ... Connection failed/receiver out of range of the transmitter.

Did you set the T/R (Transmitter/Reciever) switch so there is one of each?

Also did you press the connection button on both units?

Hi,

Yes i set the T/R on each unit.  The transmitter is connected to a Beosound Ouverture with Powerlink and Masterlink. The  receiver has only powerlink to a speaker.  When i press on CON on both, they blink red and then green, but not long, and then blinking red, and then red permanently.

Thanks

Cordialement

I have Wireless 1's but set them up so long ago, I have forgotten. But the Transmitter (set to T) needs to be connected via Masterlink only and on the Receiver (set to R) the speakers need to be Active speakers connected via Powerlink only. You then need to set the correct option on the receiver.

Also, do you have the IR eye connected to the receiver as you need that for control?

Light indications

Fast yellow flash … Wireless 1 is reset to factory setting.

Slow red flash … Wireless 1 is in connection mode.

Fast red flash … Connection failed/receiver out of range of the transmitter.

Green … Connection between the transmitter and receiver is good.

Yellow … Connection between the transmitter and receiver is acceptable, but not optimal.

Red … Receiver switched to standby

In fact, a first try resulted in the green light for 4 seconds on the 2 devices, but never more,

then I interchanged the 2 devices and redid a test, there it was downright red light, never green.

Hi again Theo,

When the first try got the green light, did they go red afterwards? If they went green and then red, it seems it made a good connection then went into standby.

But you need the IR eye connected to get any control. If it is not connected, you cannot control or test.

Update.

I saw this in the manual -

When the indicator shines green or yellow, connection between the transmitter and the receiver is established. Approximately 20 seconds after connection has been established, the receiver switches to standby (indicator shines red).

But without the IR eye you cannot test it.

Hi,

I have an old IR Eye;  those from MCL2 wich are rectangular.

Are these compatible ?

They have also 5 wires with same colours that the more recent wich are round.

Thanks for your reply
