Does anyone know the proper procedure for removal of the Beogram 3000 platter for shipping? Does it just lift straight out without any tools?

Hi there, I am not sure, just bought it on ebay and want to advise the seller on how to prepare for shipping.

The platter lifts right off.
It may bind to the subplatter a bit, but it will come off with or without the subplatter.
