Hello all

Today I went to look for the stand option saved in my TV and it was not on the remote.

I looked on the TV and no stand as in the menus it has gone.

Any ideas?

I unplugged the stand and put it back in but it’s completely missing.

I used it about a week ago and it was fine.

Any thoughts ?

Anyone know what the latest software is?

My stand seems to be missing and I wonder if it’s one of the latest updates floating around we keep seeing on here.

Seems as my TV software has not changed.

I will as a next step factory restore it today to check if it comes back.

Cheers

Hi, it might be an issue with your BeoRemote.

It has happened to me a couple of times before. Just pull the batteries out and put them back. This will force a new pairing (done automatically, according to the instructions my dealer gave me back in the day) and the Stand option will be in the List again.

It’s not there if it doesn’t sense a stand being present. Can be a cable break or maybe something died?

I don't know if this helps but it talks about having to re-calibrate the stand after moving  the TV (Moving = unplugging I assume)

Hello thank you for that.

The strange thing is the telly doesn’t even recognise there is a stand connected to it

With the older TVs there was something about having to plug the stand in either before or after powering on the TV. I had the issue with an MX 8000 and I'm almost sure you had to plug the stand in after powering up the TV for the stand to be recognised..

So long ago I can't remember.

Hello there

No sorry I didn’t I ended up with a new sound centre as the pandemic meant no one could visit for a service call.

I do remember being told later that it’s quite a common fault.

Hi,

its the dsse board in soundcenter thats is faulty

you can check that in menu service advance diagnosis

if 12v is 0 and red its dsse board

but to the connection of stand no matter of model

the stand cable have to be connected then tv is

unplugged from power otherwise the stand
