Beoab 6000 line in issue

Hi,

I have connected my good old Beolab 6000 to a Cambridge Audio CXN streamer via de line out RCA outputs.

Works fine when playing music; but when the streamer is in standby the speakers make a humming sound. This also causes the speakers to be not reliable for turning into stand; when in standby, the speakers turn on occasionally and make the same humming sound.

Any ideas what could cause this? And if so, what a good fix might be?
