I am getting ready to buy a Beosound Balance but unfortunately I will not be able to see it in person before I buy. I am hoping that it passes my "Kanna Hashimoto" - "Arigato" test like my Beosound 2. Does anyone know if the 2 sets of full range drivers are configured for stereo? I'm pretty sure they probably are, I just am hoping to verify that.

As far as I understand, it is not configured for stereo. In the Balance there is four settings: Right, left, straight ahead or 360°.
If you want stereo, you'll need 2 Balances -and then you can pair them as stereo.
Esax:I listened to it in different places today. It definitely mono. But it is outstanding. It have a airiness that beats the beolab 50. I must try 2 balance some time.

I have listened to 2 of these paired to stereo through Google Home in Struer in September.
If I remember well they were set to ‘straight forward’.
Of course it was good, very impressive.
But It’s an expensive set of speakers, if you concider that you can only play via casting to them.....if that is not an issue and you don’t mind paying the price.
