What is the best small/mid size B&O speaker

Hey I want to know your opinion on which the best mid/small size speakers that B&O have made. I want to use it in my small bedroom for music and for the Tv (mostly music). I am considering a pair of Beolab 4000, but I am open to suggestions (older speakers aswell).

I own I pair of Beovox cx50 that I am considering using.

If you can spring for a pair of BL 6000 + BL 11, it's both beautiful and classic B&O design. I use mine in my bedroom and I just love how they look. The BL 6000 without the BL 11 subwoofer isn't great from a performance perspective.

The speaker range going from A1 (with line in) to BL90, you should be more specific about "mid/small size" maybe.

BL3, the ALT lens makes all the difference

.....and also more specific about how you consider connecting these  - some are active (the Beolab 4000’s) , some are passive (like the CX50’s) and e.g. the A1 is a Bluetooth single speaker (with the option of being used via the line-in connection).

What do you expect from the sound quality/sound pressure? 
How easy to change between the use for tv and for music do expect the setup to be?

Okey To be more specific. The Beolab 4000 is good size, but I am not afraid of something like the Beolab 5000. . I don’t want it to lack to much bass. So here are the ones I have looked at

•Beolab 4000 ( a guy has agreed to my offer of 130 pounds for a pair) should I take it ?

•Beolab 5000

•beovox 5000 (since I have an extra beomaster 4500)

Beolab 4

Beolab 3 but they are too expensive.

And are open to more suggestions since there may be more speakers in this range.

I play the music through the tv so I don’t really have to switch to different sources.

That is a good suggestion, would love that bat the Beolab 11 is so expensive. 💀💀

You’re going to get a multitude of answers here as its so subjective but you really can’t make a bad decision with whatever you choose.

If you’re looking for a traditional stereo sound (which I love) then you can’t go wrong with suggestions above for BL6000s with a BL11, a pair of BL3s or my personal pick, which would be a pair of BL4000s - especially at £130 for a pair, which is just ridiculous at that price given the performance you would get from them. They were amazing for the time and even still so now with a lovely warm natural and punchy sound not to mention a slick and timeless design that fit in anywhere.

B&O make and have made many beautiful products but they excel when it comes to audio and their range of speakers; that is their specialism and experience from many years in the business. They have broken traditional boundaries and invented new technologies alone and in collaboration with others. Just go with your heart and with what appeals to you the most, you really won’t find disappointment with any choice at all. Enjoy, Simon.

The 4000s will probably suit your needs perfectly, especially at that price. Just be aware of the foam rot issue which damages the internal components.
