I've had an eBay search for "Beolab 8000" running for a few years, looking for good deals.
It recently resulted in a hit on this ad for replacement foams:

I really like the idea of replacing the deteriorating foam in the three sets of BeoLab 8000 speakers I own, but the shipping costs seem a bit much: $1,774.80 to ship a $49 set of foams for a single speaker. No discount on shipping, so a set of foams to do a single pair of speakers comes to $3,648 US dollars which is significantly more than I paid for all three sets of my 8000s, combined.
I have sent two messages to the ebay seller asking if they can check on the shipping costs and presumably correct that. No response.
So my question to all you brilliant Workbench people is simple: where can I buy replacement foams for the BeoLab 8000 at a price that doesn't exceed the original cost of the speakers?

I also need the replacement foam for two BL8000s. I'm in the US (near Philadelphia, PA) and that shipping cost is crazy. Looking forward to seeing what the ebay seller will say to a more reasonable shipping cost.

Beozip has offered to make the purchase for me, which I have accepted. Perhaps it would make sense to ship an extra set to me in Seattle and then forward them on to you. I'm happy to do that for you if Beozip is able to get them as far as me.
Now I am waiting for a recall today from the seller for a bulk discount ... so I can buy 6 or 8 ?

So, the seller call me back and I buy 8 units and got a big discount. 25,00€ per set !!!
The seller told me that the repair units are original from B&O.

Do someone know if, as for Beolabs 4000, some Beolab 8000 past a certain serial number have the white, not rooting foam?Or do ALL 8000's need to have their foam replaced sooner or later?
I've been trading emails with a local B&O dealer not far from where I live (NE US) about the foam replacement for my BL8000's for a few weeks now. They've been trying to find information as well as a source to purchase these foam parts. When I sent them the picture from that Ebay listing they replied that they would be able order the part and ship to me. I really appreciate the offer to buy them for me and ship them over but for now, seems like I have a local source. Thank You
