Does anyone know if the  sensor arm Photo resistor is still available, and if so where can they be obtained, a leg has broken off mine and I need to replace it, failing this does anyone know  the specification of the photo resistor (OPH1) so I can try and find a suitable find a replacement

I have replaced a broken sensor with an OSRAM component....

Alain ("boneofiel") on the Beolover Blog used an OSRAM LPT 80A with success as well.

Great, thanks, the manual shows it as an LDR as opposed to a photo diode but these are relatively cheap so certainly worth giving a go

Alain's blog post gives a detailed look at the original circuit and his replacement. It's good information whether you use his solution or not.
