I posted a few months ago about how my Overtures tape deck spends about 5-7 seconds making clicking sounds when it starts up (due to a broken clutch cog)

Anyway, I've searched once per week to see if any spare parts would show up on eBay (no results) and I was wondering what my options are:

1) Can you get these parts 3D printed? Like if I took the one with missing teeth to someone could I pay $100 to get it scanned, adjusted and printed?

2) Are there compatible mechanisms? This was the B&O late tape era when they were buying in 3rd party stuff (and overture lacked a proper/instant autoreverse unlike it's 80s predecesors

3) I'd thought about removing the mechanical parts from the tape and putting in one of those bluetooth fake cassettes (soldered to the system's power supply) so that I could use the tape function to stream music to the head/pickup

4) Any other ideas? It looks so good on my wall and the radio is great, just that it takes 10 noisy seconds to turn it on each morning.

You get a new used one fairly cheap.

One option is to remove the mechanism and put a smartphone there.

"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
