Yes, it's high time we gave something away...
We have in our possession some unused and boxed Limited Edition BeoSound 8 covers. These were the ones where Bang & Olufsen ran a competition for a member of the public to design some covers, and these won. Not my cup of tea, but i'm old and have simple tastes..
To win these you need to...
Tell us how and why these covers would change your BeoSound 8 so much it would transform your life beyond all recognition. Tell us what a difference these covers would make to your very existence. Be wild, be sarcastic, be inventive. Whatever. Make us laugh.

Well, these covers, without owning a Beosound 8, would make an absolute change in my life.Simply put, they would just lie around here and there and all guests would ask me what they are.Guests in my house are used to seeing a variety of B&O items but these would make a change for sure.
Not exactly my cup of tea either, I must admit, but surely rare and collectable which is good enough for me thoughI must say that I really hope someone else wins them. They deserve better than being questioned here forever.

So am I. But the many faces design is getting a little pedestrian BTW. You see that everywhere nowadays. On Lanvin iPhone/iPad covers to street art.....
So Elephant have you already gotten the A9? I must say it is really great for the price. Only criticisms are for the slightly lacking lower midrange upper bass body which leads to lass attack and can be a little bright sometimes along with the limited soundstaging capability caused by the flimsy cabinet construction. On the bright side it is still incredible for the price,size and function. Also I read on some of the reviews that the speakers might be better served with a direct connection to a quality DAC which I have yet to try. But what can you expect from a built-in WIFI connected DAC that isn't designed by some massive corporation?
I take it nobody really wants these and would rather talk about things irrelevant to the thread.
If nobody is prepared to press their fingers on a keyboard to get something for free, then it's a poor showing...

There are some (more or less) holidays like Halloween or Carnival even in Germany to put on some funny looking clothes. Why not for my Beosound 8?

It could be the case Lee, remember I traded my beoworld !st prize of a BS8 against a BS9000 and no regrets.

I would use the covers with quick release Velcro just when younger members of the family were expected to visit to show how hip and with-it I was. The covers would return to the box at other times. I might even make them into a display of Beoworlders with suitable speech balloons.....

Man I would love to win a set of these. I have orange, black and white covers, my fiancé doesn't like any of those colors and I can't justify purchasing another set! It would change my life for the better.. Slightly.. As I never win anything. Apart from a frozen chicken at the local bowls club.

A small but nice collection of entries of video, photo, lyric and prose up to now. Now Lee has the choice between a dancing tune, a bikini top still to be sewn, etc. etc.
