The cd-tray and cd will move into the deck, but the player doesn't recognize the cd. All it says is 'TRACK' but nothing else.
We recently have this CD player (second hand) and when we received it, the locking screws for transport were missing. Could it be that something inside has been damaged during transport or storage? If so, what could be possible solutions?
Also, after opening the casewe could see that the cd moves into position, the laser moves across but then fails to read properly and returns to the static position.
Tiny pieces of broken plastic kept falling out when we first tried to find the problem. A sign of damaged locking system, or something else?
We're looking forward to suggestions!
